Is 300 g Enough for a 260 g Print?

Scenario

A long print needs a decision before it starts.

Inputs and assumptions

One spool 300 g; slicer 260 g; allowance 10%.

Calculation steps

  1. Allowance = 260 × 0.10 = 26 g.
  2. Required = 260 + 26 = 286 g.
  3. Balance = 300 − 286 = 14 g.

Result

Enough under these assumptions; planned balance is 14 g.

Limits

A small positive balance is not a guarantee. Confirm the estimate includes support and purge.
